چکیده
Background: Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) is one of the key parameters for assessing reproductive function and ovarian reserve. The level AMH correlates with residual follicular pool in women age. Objectives: To assess levels SLE female patients child-bearing potential, analyze relationship between disease severity, as well serum different therapeutic regimens. Methods: study group included 12 aged 20-40 years, control - 15 age-matching healthy women. diagnosis was established based on EULAR/ACR classification criteria, 2019. SLEDAI 2K used to evaluate activity, SLICC index – damage. measured using ELISA. reference values ranged within 1.0-10.6 ng / ml. Values <1.0 were interpreted a decreased Results: patients’ mean age 33.5 [29;38] subjects’ 32.0 [26;35] years. Mean duration 11.5 [2.8;18] Acute, subacute chronic 33%, 17%, 50%, respectively. Disease activity according low 25%, moderate high 42% pts. damage baseline evaluation: no medium 16.5%, high-16.5%. 3.5 ng/ml pts, 3.1 group, showing statistical difference. A decrease reserve (AMH less than 1.0 ml) significantly more common pts vs 13% group. No correlation found index, 2K, or clinical course. Detailed analysis showed that all reduced had CP into their regimens; only exclusion this subgroup i.e., normal level-6 preserved documented patient who received cumulative dose 5.6 g. In other higher, i.e.: 7.2 g, 7.8 10.6 18.4 g 1 per each value. Three 0.1 -0.3 39 years old, while 33-39y are 0.77-5.24 Analysis gynecological history indicate episodes menstrual disorders often reported (50% 20% controls, p =0.001), similarly, diseases also 50% (chronic salpyngo-oophoritis, colpitis, endometriosis uterine endometrioma, subserous myoma, cervical dysplasia, erosion), meanwhile 4 pts; there subject condition teratoma ovaries (favorable outcome surgical removal, fertility two births after surgery). Conclusion: Ovarian compared controls. therapy negatively affects function, most likely dose-dependent manner. study, out 5 additionally compromising Further studies needed clarify potential contribution both autoimmune inflammation development loss fertility. متن کاملMonoclonal Antibodies for Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) †
A number of monoclonal antibodies (mAb) are now under investigation in clinical trials to assess their potential role in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). The most frequently used mAb is rituximab, which is directed against CD20, a membrane protein expressed on B lymphocytes. Uncontrolled trials reported an improvement of SLE activity in non-renal patients and other studies even reported an i...
